Mietta McFarlane hails from Sydney, Australia. After finishing a Fine Arts degree at the University of NSW, she completed AWARD school, Australia’s leading advertising course. A job at Droga5 Sydney, saw her work across a range of brands from Qantas Airlines, Coca Cola and Sunbeam Appliances. Four years ago she made the move to Droga5 New York. In her time here, she’s created influential and award winning campaigns for The New York Times, The Jed Foundation and Kraft. Her work has been featured in CNN, Buzzfeed, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Mashable and Creativity.
This year Mietta was named the top 3 global finalist for Creative of the Year and The One Club’s Next Creative Leader.
